Showing some independence! They chose how to rock the laces!

Walking to school!

Some last words of advice from Daddy!

I love this picture! They are looking at their teacher Mrs. T coming along to say hi. They were both so excited! You can see it in their eyes!

So this was a BIG day for me as you can imagine! My two little babies went to school. I cannot believe we have started this chapter in our lives.
We walked to school which was fun. The girls were all talk! Then when we got there they were ready to get inside! They did a great job! Happy little clams!

Coupon Update

I was finally able to really coupon! I used 12 Post Brand cereal coupons that were buy 2 save $1. Albertsons had Post cereal marked down to $2.50/box. (reg $4.59...who does Albertsons think they are????) I had 12 doubler coupons. I bought 24 boxes and paid $38.00. I saved over $75!!! Awesome! I am so excited! I know my friends have gotten them for cheaper in the past, but these were the deals and coupons that were out! :) I was also able to buy 10 Michelina's Gourmet dinners. I had 3 more doublers and 2 buy 5 save $1. They were marked down to $10/10. So they came out to be $.60/each! We all eat these too!

Not to mention that the more I have been at Albertsons the more I can browse the "clearance" rack. I have been able to get 17 cans of diced tomatoes for $.70/can. 10 packets of McCormick Turkey gravy for $.50/each and today I got 6 jugs of Arm n' Hammer laundry detergent for $3.00/each. (reg $7+) .

This is a slow process. I have been doing this for about a month and a half. The deals did not start rolling in either. I also went out of town for a week and when I got back had 8 Sunday papers to clip. NOT COOL!

Couponing is like learning a new skill. It takes practice and patience. I am very happy that I have been able to save money and stock pile some things that we will use. I don't go around chasing deals. And I only buy what we will use. For any coupons I cannot use at Albertsons I use at Walmart. We have saved money there too! :)

In a shabby not super accurate total I think I have saved about...................

*..............$225.00 in the few weeks I have been actually couponing! Not bad!

Family night!

I am just amazed that after one week of swim lessons the girls are so willing to get all the way in the water! They spent more time under water than above the water! We had a great time!

Extreme Diving....kinda....

The last day of swimming lessons! I caught Nat mid sneeze! Hahahahahahaha! So funny!

Graden went a few times to the lessons! He was rather bummed when he could not get in water! My friend Tiffany took him a few of the days! He loved that!

Taylor was rather fearless when it came to the diving board. She was more than excited! She got to jump twice on the last day! I am really proud of her!

Big jump!

Natalie took a little more persuasion. She did great the other day when they jumped but today she was bitten by the fear bug. After I had a chance to pull her aside and talk to her she got in line. I am so glad she did because lessons were almost over and she had not gone! I did not want this to be a regret of hers!
(She then let the little girl behind her go so this was not her big jump.....yet!)

Taylor again!!!

YEAH!!!! She finally jumped! I am so proud of her! It's all she talked about on the way home!

This is Zac Efron the girls swimming teacher! jk! He does look like him though! His real name is Collin. The girls called him "Coach Collin" all week! Holla!

Swimming fun~

These pictures were from our last ward party that we are going to "legally" attend for the Sunny Brook ward! It was the summer swimming party. It was probably 70' and windy but the kids HAD to get in the water! They really did have soooooo much fun! Graden was cold before he even got in so he sat out with dad and got warm. He dozed off a few times too!

The next pictures are from our 1st day of swim lessons. Meridian Public Pool offered a week free and we jumped on that chance! Graden can go next year so my good friend Tiffany watched him for today. He would have gone BONKERS if he could not get in too! The girls did great! They had friends from church in the class too! Lance and Paige!

Some little freak show got a hold of my camera. They may be identical twins and the pictures may be blurry, but I know who the bandit is.
