I'm back!

This is going to be a huge post. Sorry! I wanted to start out by telling you all what's new at our house!
*Jason got a promotion at work! AWESOME! It has been a great job so far! Yes, the hours are less desirable than normal, but he hung on and quickly moved up and now is some what in charge. Which leads me to my next honorable mention.....
*I get to quit! Actually I already did! OCT 24 is my last day! Not that I am counting! I cannot wait! Til then I will start taking Mondays off as well. Jason needs those to work during the day! HOLA! I can't wait to get my life back!
*My cousin September cut the girls hair! We have been talking about it for a while, and decided to go for it! They look so much older now! Natalie decided she wanted bangs like me! That will help in the "who's who" game! They love it! Thanks SJ!
*NeW CaLlInG! Jason was called to be the "financial clerk" in our ward! It will be very interesting how it all works out! Tithing settlement is smack in the middle of wrestling season! He was told in his blessing when he was set apart that he and his family would be blessed because of this calling! I hope so! It was actually kinda sad not having him come home with us on after church! (Especially to see his face when he got home and dinner was still in the oven!) Sorry Jab!
~The pics are just of the last week or so! Graden is growing up so fast! Like father like son! He wants to be just like dad! When I was pregnant with him we used to BLARE the song "watchin' you" by Rodney Atkins! The song is really coming true! Every time I get Graden out of the van I head in only to have to go back out to find him. His has figured out how to climb up on Daddy's blue mower! I actually caught him with a smile!
I also wanted to post pictures of our Wednesday tradition. THE LIBRARY! We go and get books and movies and play on the computers! Way fun!
The other pictures are of my mom's reaction to the girls hair! I knew she would cry, but it was still worthy to get on camera!

TTFN!

Crazy Sunday's!

Ok..... We are trying to teach our kids that the Sabbath is a Holy day and yada yada yada..... You know the rest. Well, some how after we get home from church, I fix dinner and get the kids settled and before you know it Jason is OUT! That way I get to fend all the "can we play outside, can we jump on the tramp, can we ride bikes, can. can. can......." Well, I got a little creative today when Jason was passed out in the living room. I decided to give his Barney Rubble feet a little make over! He did not even wake up! I was laughing under my breath sooooo hard! I am my own best audience. The girls were in the tub and when they got out they thought it was too silly!

This is the girl's Sunday hair. I really don't have time to do it any other day of the week. So I always try to do it nice on Sunday. They were so funny trying to take these pictures. What silly, yet stunning little girls! How did I get so lucky?

I love these paintings....

I thought I would post some of my favortie artwork by Latter Day Saints. These are just a few. Del Parson and Liz Lemon Swindle. I know that I am not the most spiritual person in the world, in fact, some what irreverant in my mind. But there is a spiritual side to me. I look at my children and husband and feel so blessed. I have more to be greatful each day. Every test is a blessing!

He Is Risen: I love this picture of Christ

This is one of my favorite Father and Son pictures! It looks a little dated now, but I have always thought it was adorable!

I found the likeness of this painting so great. The way the little girl is playing with her toes, and the way Christ is sitting, hunched over to be on her level. I love it!

*D*O*N*E*

I finally finished BREAKING DAWN! Holy crap! I can breathe again! It took me a while to finish it. After much discussion with a husband who could care less (and was watching the Olympics so I am not sure what he heard anyway), I came to the conclusion that I was too sad to finish it. Then it would be over. I would know the whole story. Which ever way it went. But I bucked up, and READ! I love these books! I am proud of myself for even reading all of them! I am not a reader, so..... I think it says a lot about the "saga". Now if you see me you can feel free to talk to me about it! I loved it! LOVE

Family Night

We went to Artic Circle for a family night snack! Jason worked a really long day and I did not want to make him go on a bike ride! So we had burgers at home then ice cream! Graden is big enogh that sharing is no longer an option. HE get's his own!

Mmmmmmmmm! Yummy!

Jason taught the girls early on how to properly eat a cone without dripping! They are hillarious to watch! Their heads are turned to the side the entire time! What goofs!

Jerk wad.

So I got Graden a courtesy cone. Well, it was gone immediatley. He started to his grunt/hhhhhmmmmm noise and was pointing to my mom's cone. Now he is eating it! Thanks Grammy!

Long weekend!

Wow I am getting old ;)! This weekend was packed full of activities! For one, it was my 10 year reunion from good ol' Capital High! Suprise, I did manage to graduate! (lol) I have always known that I would go to my reunions. As long as I was still invited! On friday night we had a family/alumni BBQ. We drove out to Hidden Springs. It was nice! At first I was sick to my stomach! I was just worried that people would be mean. Then we parked next to Joshua Fusselman's mini van and it had a magnet on the side door that read "HAPPINESS IS FAMILY HOME EVENING!" Man I laughed so hard! It worked the nerves right out of me!
And of course everybody was soooo nice. I ran into old friends, and some people who I thought would have it all. Well, my friends were still friends and those who I thought would have it all were, well, let's say they brought enough beer money to finace our next next reunion! My kids were well behaved and Jason tended to them so I could chit chat! (Thanks honey) On Saturday night I was really excited! It was a semi-formal dinner/dancing night at the Rose Room downtown! There was not really a program, or anything! I hope those bar tenders pick a good college for their kids now that it's paid for by the good ol' CHS class of 98! If you weren't drinking, there was really nothing to do. Nobody would dance. I was pretty bummed, but oh well! I got to get all dressed up and be with Jason!
Which brings me to the 2nd part of this weekend! MY 6 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! My how the time get's away from you! I will keep this short.... I LOVE YOU JAB! Thanks for balancing me out! Thanks for working so hard for our family! And thanks for just being you!

10 years since High School and 6 years of Marriage makes for a LONG weekend!
