Cousinpalooza 2010 One hella of a time!

Let me just start by saying that this is the face I got when Graden learned that he was going to be able to PEE on a tree while camping! Enough said!

My sister Megan reserved a camping spot for her family and my other three sisters about 5 months ago. My mom took Burke for the weekend and we packed up the van and headed to Lowman, Idaho. We stayed at the Mt. View Camp Ground. I took my camera and of course, captured it all on film. I mean......on digital bites. Whatever!

Hitting the road. 2 hours after the planned time! ;)

Uncle Jeff and Jason putting up Casa De La Blues!

Noah and Graden were great buddies the entire time!

Pyro.

My babe of a husband! I cannot get over how handsome he is. I love that man.

Dweebs.

My sweet Natalie! She is really into the "head band braid" right now. She is such a bright little girl! Even with marshmallow in her face!

Taylor really digs the S'mores too! She was a great little camper!

Ok, I just LOVE this picture. For whatever reason I call Graden "shark bait". I think it is because he has sooooo many teeth that you can see when he smiles or talks. This is a prime example!

The cousins loved this big rock formation. They were always climbing it! Even Graden made it up a few times!

I was also able to haul my huge butt up there too!

Mama and G.

The kids colored a lot too! Very fun!

My nephew Sam was drawing portraits of his family. Jason's of course had a singlet and huge muscles!

There was a game or two of "gold fish" as my kids call it.

One of many nature walks. We found these twin trees. Like my girls.

This is Claire "Crack Kills" Cox. Need I say more?

I MADE them sit by each other!

Cold Sunday morning! I think Graden looks like ET!

Our own little fire!

Um, ready to go I think!

All the cousins (minus Burke, plus "Stick" Austin's friend)

Poor Caitlin!

This is a sure sign of good camping!

Did I mention it was beautiful?

I heart Idaho.

SEW LOVE SEWING!

I am SEW in love with SEWING as of late! My machine is running well....Thanks to Candace....and I kicked it all off with a humanitarian quilt. Ugly as all get out, and I hope the child is blind.......JUST KIDDING! It was kinda cute. Like a 3 on a 1-10 scale. But I made the top and just kept on sewing! I want to try THESE soon!

A great day~

Saturday June 19th 2010 was a great day. Out neighbors were sealed in the Boise Temple. Paul is our home teacher, and Jason is his. (lol). We have become good friends with their little family. Our kids play almost everyday. Nolan is hilarious and my girls always ask when he will be home. We were honored to be invited to the big day. We went to the Endowment session, then the sealing! What massive spiritual day! Sarah is due in July with another little boy. Dylan. We are excited for him to come!

What do you get.......?

When you have a kitchen table with food, and Halloween plates,

and a bucket o' wings,

and a slip n' slide,

and some music,

and some corn on the cob,

and a grill master,

slatherin' up the wings
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

YOU GET A HILLBILLY BUFFET!!!!! HOLLA!

Our awesome neighbor Paul Hazen aka BB Wolfe is a wing chef of sorts! He has a line of sauces at the Boise Co-op. (Wing, taco....etc) He was in a wing cook off this weekend and WON! Best All Around Wings (I think). We spent Saturday there! Jason was in hog heaven! Ok, we all were! Seriously. They are hands down the BEST wings ever! Finger lickin' for sure! So he had all these wings left over and invited us over for dinner. We decided to make it as "hillbilly" as possible. So the table was in the drive way, Halloween plates, slip n slide, a pregnant lady, (not me! His adorable wife Sarah), truck in the road, music from a boom box...
It was classic! We plan to make it a tradition!
Here is the KILLER trophy Paul won!
And here is the proof in case you thought this story was too ghetto to be true!
