Fairview Ward Harvest Party......
The girls helped me make these Chocolate Krinkle Cookies!!! Yummo!
I have never LOVED being pregnant. We are SO blessed to be able to get pregnant almost immediately after trying. I hate the sick part, the tired part, the itchy part, the not sexy part, the sleepless nights part, the stress part, the money part. I have never had "the glow". I see my friends that enjoy all of it.
Well, this is a first for me, but I am really going to miss being pregnant. I don't know if it is because this is my last baby, or that by far this has been the "easiest" pregnancy. Or is it has kinda gotten better with age? I'm not sure.
As I rub my belly and Burke goes crazy, I actually enjoy it. Or when I take a bath and pour a cup of water on my tummy he goes bananas. The kids all love to feel him move! (Not so much Jason, but I'm over that now!)
In a few weeks Burke will be here and a whole new adventure will start. I cannot wait to meet him, love on him, kiss him, and be his mama. But I will miss his bump!
(remind me of this post when my stomach is all saggy and gross when I am no longer pregnant!)
6 SAY WHAT??????????????????:
I am just like that with the pregnancy...I hate it and love it. Good luck with the baby...mine is already 4 months old and I can't believe it. As for those cookies.....YUM-OHHH! I want the recipe :)
I definitely don't love the uncomfortable part of pregnancy and the throwing up part. But I love feeling this little guy kick and move! That's been so fun!
Oh, and I love the "ghetto robot!" That's totally going to be my Halloween costume! (but probably not this year, since I'll most likely be in the hospital giving birth on Halloween!)
Those cookies look delicious! I am glad that you are liking this pregnancy! I can't wait to see this little boy!
Love the Robot and the face painting!
I don't love being pregnant either but I KNOW I am going to miss it once I know that we are done. It's just so miraculous, the whole thing! Can't believe you only have a few weeks left, yeah! And I just LOVE my saggy stomach after birth, that is like the worst part I think. You have to get used to that part of your body all over again, e-v-e-r-y-t-i-m-e! Haha, I am not bitter ;) BTW I love that ghetto robot, you are so fun and creative. I would've tried turning the switch 'off' though... who knows, could've worked!
Sounds like you better post that cookie recipe. Looks yummy! And as far as not having a glow...WHAT!?!? You look beatiful and very "glow-y". I felt the same way, very un-glow-y. But I still loved being pregnant.
I already miss being pregnant. I knew I would. It's only been four months and I can't really remember what it feels like to have them moving and kicking. Sad. Enjoy the parts that are enjoyable. I love your bump. You're so cute pregnant.
