I am SEW in love with SEWING as of late! My machine is running well....Thanks to Candace....and I kicked it all off with a humanitarian quilt. Ugly as all get out, and I hope the child is blind.......JUST KIDDING! It was kinda cute. Like a 3 on a 1-10 scale. But I made the top and just kept on sewing! I want to try THESE soon!

Kuddos to you. I really need to learn how to sew. It would come in handy so often. I'm sure my mom gets sick of seeing the piles of clothes I drop off with her mend for me.
WOW!! You are brave! Tell you what, you learn make those then you can teach me b/c I understood NONE of those steps with the "sewing words" she used throughout all those steps.
They are really cute tho :)
I'm hoping I can join the sewing-ban-wagon soon here. My bday gift got lost in the mail and should be here Wednesday so... fingers crossed!
Way to go. Sewing is one of my next goals, but is scares me a little bit. I bought material for the nursery, but haven't had the courage to sew it yet. Thanks for the inspiration.
We both know that whatever I did was pure and total luck. =) I really want to get to work on an apron! Lets go look at fabric sometime!
Hi Alli,
Thanks so much for linking to my tutorial! I hope you do make these cute little pillowcases - they are so fun and girly. I would love, love, love to see a picture when you get them all finished.
Hmmmm.....your readers just gave me a blog post idea - maybe I need to break down some of my sewing terms for "beginning sewers".....something to think about for sure!
Thanks again,
Lindsay
