Jason has been in Utah for 3 days and we all missed him tons! No one more than Graden. My men stick together. Well after church I had a Presidency meeting and took off for the afternoon. When I got home I headed straight to the kitchen to fix dinner. Graden had been in and out of my room and I had not thought twice about it. Then Taylor shows me Jasons toiletry bag and tells me that Graden had dumped it....still no light bulbs going off. Then Graden yells out "Mah"(which I hear 6 million times a day) and comes running to my legs and buries his head in. I even looked at Jason and told him that he was snuggling me and it was soooo cute.
*****this is where i look down and see all the blood*****
I grab his hand and it is covered in blood and I think RAZOR! Then all the light bulbs start going off. I scoop him up and put him on the counter and grab his hand to see the cut. I wipe the blood and there is nothing. That is when it drips off his CHIN! He was trying to shave like DADDY! He is not crying, and is be very cooperative in looking up so I can see. Jason helped me clean it up and we put him in the tub. Then I have a mother moment. He was not snuggling me, he was trying to get the weird feeling of blood off his chin, which is now all over my new jeans! And he was mimicking Jason in shaving! Yes, cute, but very dangerous! It could have been worse I know! I just felt bad I was not paying close enough attention. And of course I took pictures.
9 SAY WHAT??????????????????:
how cute! And I'm glad that was all he did with the razor. jeeze! I was asking how the heck Jason convinced you to let him go on that trip . . . You're one awesome woman!!
Funny you posted this cuz just this morning I caught my little Brody chewing on one of JD's old razors!!! Luckily he didn't get any cuts. Geez these kids are busy busy. Graden is quite adorable. I bet Jason loves having a mini me around the house! I also LOVE the last pic of him in the tub. It is so cute! Glad he wasn't hurt too bad.
Man, I would have died. But it does sound like something that would have happened to my kids! Just wait until your girls decide they are ready to shave their legs...I shudder at the thought for mine! (((Graden is stinkin' cute though!)))
No I don't think we are going. JD was saying before the game that if we won he wanted to go. Then we got online and looked at how much it would cost! Tickets alone are 1500-2500 a piece.. crazy! We will just have to sit this one out!! A Super Bowl party at our house will have to do. Too bad the Super Bowl isn't here like it was last year.
I don't know whether to say, "Holy crap, is Graden ok?" or "That's so cute!" Good to see Graden is one tough little man!
What a tough guy! I'm glad he is okay.
That is so scary when things like that happen. I hate the part where you are trying to clear away the blood and figure out how bad it is. That's when your heart is in your stomach! I'm glad it wasn't a bad one!
BTW- Why'd you have to post the picture of my butt on your blog???? Sheesh!! Ok, so I made a bad underwear choice...
Love you guys!
Scary! He is getting so big! So cute.
