Overload of fun!

TERRIFIC TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So after we came home from the girls school carnival with extra tickets I had an idea? Shocking, I know! I thought about a rewards system with tickets. Good behavior, get a ticket. Bad behavior, loose a ticket. I told the kids we could earn things. They thought of things like going to Chuck E. Cheese. I was thinking more along the lines of computer time. But we will work those kinks out as they come. On Saturday we decorated my canning jars to prepare for the TERRIFIC TICKETS!

I went to Zurchers and bought a HUGE ream of tickets for $3. Not bad! As you can see it seems to be working. We have yet to take any away. They even earned one while sitting nicely while our home teachers were here. AWESOME!

On Saturday the girls and I sold GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! The only downer is that is was WICKED WINDY!!!!!!!!!!!! They are in Daisy Troop 383. It's for Kindergarten and 1st graders. So far they have had a really great time. It has turned out to be a little more pricey than I thought, but I think we will stick to it til they turn 8. Then they will go into Activity Days at church.

Burke has discovered his fingers. Great.

These are bookmarks I made with my (our) new Cricut. They were for the sisters I visit teach. The message was about the women in the home being knowledgeable in the Scriptures, and to preserve their own scripture reading. Here is the message that was on the back:

“… Every woman can be a gospel doctrine instructor in her home, and every sister in the Church needs gospel knowledge as a leader and teacher. If you have not already developed the habit of daily scripture study, start now and keep studying in order to be prepared for your responsibilities in this life and in the eternities.” Julie B. Beck, Relief Society general president.

Here is a slide of the Chief Joseph Luau Carnival! The kids had a blast!

Here is Burke's skin before the Dermatologist:

Here is his skin AFTER the Dermatologist: :):):):):):):) It was a staph infection. Awful. Awful. Awful.

I need one of those ticket reward jars for Mark ;)

Glad to see that little Burke's face is clearing up! Poor little guy! A staph infection, probably not too fun. He's a doll! Love his little cry :) And don't worry if he found his fingers. Babies that suck their fingers, are good babies! I'm finally getting a good night's sleep ever since Camden discovered his thumbs. Not gonna break that habit!
